Case Study: Deltek

Challenge

Deltek wanted to embed a coaching culture within their organization. This meant making coaching accessible to all top talent, high potential and senior leadership employees and delivering on their core value of continuous learning and development.

However, implementing a consistent approach to coaching across Deltek’s global organization was challenging. Along with external coaches, they were using internal coaches to develop leaders and wanted to implement a scalable and repeatable process that included a standardized coaching agreement, consistent meeting cadences, and visibility into the progress of internal leaders being coached.

Solution 

After working with Optify’s highly skilled coaches, Deltek’s team was eager to explore the Optify platform. They quickly identified that it could meet all their requirements. 

Deltek’s internal coaches need a comprehensive solution for managing all engagements, and they found this in Optify. Coaches can schedule/reschedule coaching meetings in the platform, and share confidential access to meeting notes, goals, assessments, and development plans with their clients. And with Optify’s resource library, they can easily find coaching resources on any topic and simply share them with clients through the platform. 

Optify also gives Deltek’s L&D team complete oversight of all coaching engagements. They can see how many meetings a coach and client have had, collect survey feedback from clients and see the operational impact coaching programs are delivering, all within Optify. 

Recently, Optify has also worked with Deltek to create a leadership competency development program for their high-potential employees, which is delivered by Optify’s expert coaches through the Optify platform. Together, they have created a program that meets the specific needs of high performers, highlighting competencies that align with the Leadership Circle Profile 360 assessments and leadership development plans.
