We’re a small, woman-owned, revenue-generating start-up that launched in 2018 with a mission to develop the next generation of leaders through one-on-one leadership coaching. Our web-based, custom technology platform can transform the coach and client journey and make coaching more clear, accessible, effective and scalable for coaches, clients and organizations. Our platform takes a service that was limited to a few and makes it available to thousands of people.
We’re looking for the right person who will be an integral part of our team, supporting all aspects of the product. The individual who excels in this type of environment will be an integral part of the future of our company.

Job Responsibilities
- With the support and mentoring of our development lead, develop product features and enhancements to further the product’s capabilities and meet customer needs
- Develop app enhancements and new features using the following technologies:
- Languages and frameworks: Elixir, Phoenix, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS/SASS, SQL/Postgres, Shell/Bash
- Development tooling: macOS/Unix, Docker, Git, Ansible, Yarn
- Methodologies: Agile and Holacracy
- Cloud services and tools: AWS, GitHub, CircleCI, Sentry, Trello
- Key Integrations: Mandrill/Mailchimp, ScheduleOnce, Calendly, Stripe
- Public website: WordPress, Timber, PHP
- Help determine technology strategy
Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in web application development, full-stack preferred.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Elixer, or another functional programming language
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer/software engineering or similar, or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and communicate those concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience writing user and integration tests and using continuous integration systems to automate tests as part of a version management system and process
- An eye for the subtleties of graphic design (such as color, typography, and spacing)
- Awareness of digital interactions and design patterns
- Ability to multitask and juggle multiple, concurrent projects
- Self-starter with strong time management skills
- Willingness to listen to dissenting opinions and work constructively through conflict
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
- Comfortable dealing with change that is inherent in a vibrant start-up environment
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people
- Passion for technology and the positive impact it can have to better the lives of individuals
- Interest in leadership and coaching as a discipline
